Max & Erma’s is such an awesome place. I was at this location when I was out of town, and we no longer have Max & Erma’s in my home state. I love the atmosphere - great decor and good music. Staff were all super friendly. And the food was EXCELLENT - probably the best french onion soup I’ve ever had. Great cobb salad, and of course delicious desserts - I got banana cream pie and cookies to go! Would love to come back next time I’m in the area!
Loved my burger with an egg on top! It was cooked perfectly. I got egular tots, nothing fancy but good and crispy. My server was great...polite, friendly and with a smile. Also, nice atmosphere except for the 90’s weird, slow club music playing when most of the guests were elderly when I visited. This is more of a “country music area” and not downtown Indy. I know corporate controls that and the manager/staff can’t do anything about it but it’s a small corporate fail in my opinion. Being said, I would probably eat there again. Clean place with clean restrooms as well. I enjoyed the meal.
I ordered through DoorDash. This restaurant has a big variety of delicious food. I ordered the Stacked to the Max Club with a side of tater tots and a slice of New York Style cheesecake. This sandwich consisted of sliced ham and turkey, crisp smoked bacon, swiss and cheddar with lettuce, tomato and mayo. All stacked between three slices of toasted whole grain bread. My sandwich was the freshest and best club I have ever had. The tater tots were deliciously crispy with great flavor. The slice of cheesecake was best described as a slice of heaven on a plate drizzled with strawberry puree. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for anyone who likes to indulge in amazingly delicious food.
We stopped in on our way through the area and had the most wonderful meal. We each ordered a different burger and were impressed with all of them. Our server, Theresa, was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was charming and fun. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!
Grabbed dinner take out with my daughter while staying at a near by hotel. This place is great! Reminds me of the fun vibe of the late 90's. Food was great, especially the banana cream pie and Cuban sandwich! The bartender was super nice! He looked like he was having a blast with the customers.
Great food. We stopped on our way to Indianapolis. There was lots of available parking. The Nachos came with fresh jalapenos, the soup of the day was delish, the club was huge and the chicken bowl was excellent. Tips... don’t drink the water here, it was awful, and ask for anything you might need up front...crackers, ketchup. We had a hard time getting anything including the check. We didn’t get refills and that’s important to me.
I came here with my family for the first time today and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Our waitress was very upbeat and made the atmosphere feel warm and inviting and the food was awesome aswell. I would recommend this place to anyone.
